Summary
Aim Higher provides career planning and education to students with disability. While barriers to accessing open employment are prevalent, open employment is an achievable reality with the right preparation and support. Information sessions are available to all students with a disability in year 9+. Information sessions are also available for parents, students, teachers, and other community members.
Impact
Meaningful open employment based on a person’s strengths and interests provides substantial benefits and has consistently shown to be a key indicator of quality of life and wellbeing.
