Professional values in Positive Behaviour Support

Summary

Since its inception in the 1990s, the key elements of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) have been critically evaluated and explored without much clarity. At the Practitioner Level, key "Professional Values" do not appear to have been explored or confirmed that systems, organisations, service users, implementers, or PBS Practitioners themselves consider important in the role of PBS.

Impact

This research aims to explore if Professional Values are important, and if so, which ones. The goal is to continue contributing to the literature trying to clarify and confirm "What is good PBS?" starting with the foundations instead of the qualifications, skills, and knowledge that are required.
